Ford, Mazey Announcement
Country Roads Trust is pleased to announce Stephen Ford as General Manager and Chief Operating Officer and Amanda Ross Mazey as Director of Social Engagement.
Each have been around West Virginia University athletics for several years and will use their knowledge and passion to ensure WVU student-athletes receive the best NIL opportunities.
“We are excited to have Stephen and Amanda run our daily operations within Country Roads Trust,” said Oliver Luck, co-founder of Country Roads Trust. “They understand our vision and will work hard for current and future WVU athletes.”
Stephen previously worked for WVU Athletics multi-media rights holder LEARFIELD for eight years, spending seven with the local Mountaineer Sports Properties team as their Senior Manager of Business Development. His knowledge of the business community and relationships throughout the state made this an easy decision once he heard Oliver and Ken’s visions on Country Roads Trust. The Nashville, Tennessee native is an avid golfer and enjoys spending all his free time with his son, Roman.
Amanda has been on TV for 24 years, most of that time as a sports reporter and anchor. She and her family moved to Morgantown in 2012 when she immediately began covering the Mountaineers. She currently co-anchors Mountaineer GameDay, covers live WVU sporting events as sideline reporter for ESPN+ and produces football features for the Mountaineer Sports Network. She is excited to use all those skills and her love for the Mountaineers in her new role. In her spare time, she enjoys photography, hiking and anything outdoors as well as having fun with her two dogs and two ducks.
She and husband Randy, who is the Head Baseball coach at WVU, have two beautiful children, Weston & Sierra.
