Morgantown, WV – The GOAT Country Roads Pub is set to open the week of the first home football game at the Suncrest Towne Centre. Country Roads Trust, in partnership with Harma Restaurant Group, is very excited to launch this new venue in the Morgantown community. The Trust will receive a portion of all revenue to support student-athletes and stay competitive in the ever-changing NIL landscape.
The GOAT will be located at 364 Suncrest Towne Centre Dr and will offer a scratch-made gastropub menu, amazing cocktail program with popular and rare spirits as well as a beer program featuring West Virginia breweries. Also available will be pool tables, darts, Skee ball, shuffle boards, and an array of entertainment.
Country Roads Trust has been named one of On3’s “Top most ambitious NIL collectives.” The Trust is a Name, Image and Likeness collective that connects athletes with fans while allowing athletes to earn compensation. The Trust facilitates interactions between fans and athletes through a wide variety of platforms, including live interactive virtual interviews, in-person fan events, and even personalized birthday messages to fans from their favorite athletes.
At the heart of it all, Country Roads Trust unites fans with athletes in a way that has never been done before.
Harma Restaurant Group has long-standing hospitality concepts in the local community including Crab Shack Caribba, Nonno Carlo, Sugar Bar and Dockside Grille.
Bron Kayal, President of Harma Group, reached out to Country Roads Trust earlier this year with an idea to provide the community a very special place where the mission is to win. The pub’s vision is to “Build Big. Win Big. Bring It. Together we connect, support, and inspire as we define the new era of college athletics.”
Country Roads Trust GM/COO, Stephen Ford said, “We’re excited for a unique partnership that will give us another revenue stream to help our student-athletes. We can call this our home for events, content, launch parties for bourbon and beer and just a great place for all Mountaineer fans to get together.”
“We are a mission-driven pub. We bleed Blue and Gold. We are Mountaineer Nation. We must be the best and strive to have the best for our teams. The pub will be fun with great entertainment and games. Our team is very excited to collaborate with Country Roads Trust and bring to our community something that is so dear to all our hearts. Come on down, have a great time and support the teams.” – Bron Kayal, President Harma Group, 2008 WVU Alumni
